2. When mowing season begins, we mow the grass shorter in the spring than we do in the mid summer. The reason we do this is in the spring the lawn has plenty of moisture and can be cut shorter without burning or putting added stress on the lawn. Towards mid summer when the temperature soars and the rains slow down, we bring the height up a bit on the lawn to prevent or delay the lawn drying up and keep your lawn looking greener longer! The added height on the grass also helps to shade the soil to help prevent it from drying out as fast and saving you money on watering. We are also sure to mow the lawn a different direction each week. This helps to prevent tracks in your lawn and provides a cleaner cut. In the dog days of summer when the lawns growth slows down we use our judgement if the lawn needs cut that week or not. If there isn't much growth or the lawn is stressed we sometimes skip a week in between mowings. Mowing the grass when it is severely dry or stressed can cause more harm than good.

3. When fall arrives and the leaves start falling, we usually bag the leaves each week to keep you property looking attractive. Once most of the leaves have fallen, we can provide you with a full FALL CLEAN UP. This includes blowing out all landscaping and bagging, and removing all leaves from the property. Late fall is also a good time to have us clean them rain gutters to prevent clogs and water damage in the spring.
